For individual guides
In a busy city centre, on a windy castle wall, at a noisy market — you don't have to shout over the surroundings. The group listens on their own phones with earphones; you speak at a normal volume.
Straining your voice leads to hoarseness and a sore throat over time, and the edge of the group still misses what you're saying. Renting traditional “whisper” receiver sets comes with a daily fee; the devices have to be handed out, counted back one by one at the end, charged and disinfected.
In MyGuide Live you create an event, and guests join on their own phones with a PIN or QR code — no app to install. You speak in MyGuide Live and they hear you live. No devices to hand out, no deposit, no lost hardware.
In the morning you create the day's walk on your dashboard and get a PIN code for it. At the meeting point you show or display the QR code; guests join on their own phones in a few seconds and take out their earphones. You start the broadcast and speak at a normal volume throughout — at the busy intersection, on the windy viewpoint and in the echoing church, everyone hears clearly. If someone falls behind to take a photo, they don't lose the thread: the phone plays in their pocket, even with the screen locked. At the end of the walk you close the event, and the system settles based on the number of people who actually joined — any unused credits stay on your balance.
Credit-based: you pay only for tours you actually run, with no monthly fee and no equipment rental. We describe the details on the Pricing page.
